Chasing Cars

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don't need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
would you lie with me and just forget the world?

A song by Snow Patrol. Besides the chilling music, i get the impression the words are magical, for me at the very least. When troubles are around and you can't find a way out of it, this song helps pretty much in soothing the heating heart, giving temporary rests by slowly driving to forget the problem. The best part is, "Forget what we're told before we get too old."

Yes, let's just lie and forget the world.

The Art of Delusion

We human are bound to a mind which has certain degree of imagination. Everybody on Earth surely have imagined about something. Their future, their hopes, their dreams, their inspirations, and their plans. For once in a while, we stopped, sitting silently and solemnly foreseeing something in our mind which is currently not in front of our eyes or bluntly to say, currently not exist in reality. This is the time some kind of feeling appear. Bizarre, yet apparent. Sometimes we simply hope what we see is an actual event in the future or a mere vision which never translates into real life. We human, we imagine.

Beyond that, some people might just be more imaginary than the others. They are illustrators of fantasy. This explains how imaginations infuses creativity of mankind. Thousands of astonishing paintings are real prove how someone unleash his most extreme aspiration manifested into something elusive, extraordinary, and simply, irresistibly charming. A complex and dramatic saturation and brushes of colors construde an art, a masterpiece of a perspective that implies concealed and implicit messages through codes of delusion.

I may not be as imaginative or creative as Picasso or Vincent Van Gogh, nor I’m delusional that i can see many things beyond factual sights. But here are my thoughts, the way i perceive things, and my simple aspirations delivered through art of delusion. Metaphoric and unrealistic depictions of a true happenings. Some may be written in literal meanings in order to serve it’s primary purpose and objective, though.

You may fail to see the truth on some attempts. Puzzles of stories are about to be layed.

Welcome to The Art of Delusion.
